Morning Devotion Today Wednesday April 26 2023 : Dear Heavenly Father, as we begin this new day, we come before you with hearts full of gratitude and thanksgiving. We thank you for your goodness and faithfulness in our lives, for your love and mercy that are new every morning. We ask that you bless us and guide us throughout this day, and help us to live according to your will and purpose. May our morning prayer and devotion set the tone for the rest of our day, and may we be filled with your peace and joy as we go about our daily tasks. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
Morning Prayer For Today April 26 2023:
Dear Lord, we thank you for this new day, a day that you have made and we rejoice and are glad in it. As we begin our day, we ask that you would fill us with your Holy Spirit, that we may be empowered to live according to your will and purpose. We pray that you would give us wisdom and discernment, that we may make wise choices and decisions throughout the day.
Lord, we pray for your protection over us and our loved ones, both physically and spiritually. We ask that you would surround us with your angels and keep us safe from all harm and danger. We pray for those who are sick or hurting, that you would bring healing and comfort to them. We also lift up those who are struggling financially or emotionally, that you would provide for their needs and give them hope and strength.
Father, we pray for our leaders, both in government and in our communities. We ask that you would give them wisdom and integrity, that they may lead with justice and compassion. We pray for our families and friends, that they may be blessed and encouraged today. We also pray for our enemies, that you would soften their hearts and bring reconciliation where there is conflict.
Lord, as we go about our daily tasks, may we do everything as unto you, with excellence and integrity. May we be a light in the darkness, sharing your love and truth with those around us. We pray that you would open doors for us to share the gospel and make disciples, that your kingdom may come and your will may be done on earth as it is in heaven.
Morning Devotion Today Wednesday April 26 2023 :
Today, as we meditate on your word, we are reminded of your love and faithfulness. Your word says in Lamentations 3:22-23, “Because of the Lord’s great love we are not consumed, for his compassions never fail. They are new every morning; great is your faithfulness.” Lord, we thank you that your love for us is unfailing, and that your mercies are new every morning.
We also read in Psalm 143:8, “Let the morning bring me word of your unfailing love, for I have put my trust in you. Show me the way I should go, for to you I entrust my life.” Lord, we entrust our lives to you today, and we ask that you would show us the way we should go. May your love be the foundation of everything we do, and may we seek your will in all things.
We are also reminded in Philippians 4:6-7, “Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.” Lord, we bring our worries and concerns to you today, and we ask for your peace that surpasses all understanding. May your peace guard our hearts and minds as we go throughout this day.
Conclusion:
Lord, we thank you for this powerful morning prayer and morning devotion. May it be a source of strength and encouragement to us as we face the challenges of this day.
