Today, Tuesday, January 24, 2023, is a great day to start building a habit of having a powerful morning prayer. Here are some tips to help you get started:
1. Set aside time for your prayer.
The best way to make sure your prayer is powerful is to take the time to really focus on it. Set aside at least five minutes each morning to devote to your prayer. Find a comfortable spot where you won’t be disturbed and make sure you have the time to really focus on your prayer without any distractions.
2. Get in the right mindset.
Before you start your prayer, take some time to clear your mind and get in the right mindset. Take a few deep breaths and focus on the words of your prayer. This will help you stay focused and ensure that your prayer is powerful.
3. Pray for guidance.
Start your prayer by asking for guidance from your higher power. Ask for the strength and courage to make the right decisions throughout the day. Ask for clarity and direction in all aspects of your life.
4. Give thanks.
Take some time to give thanks for all the blessings in your life. Express your gratitude for the things you’re grateful for, no matter how big or small.
5. Ask for protection.
End your prayer by asking for protection and safety throughout the day. Ask for protection from physical and emotional harm and ask for the strength to overcome any obstacles you may face.
Having a powerful morning prayer can help set the tone for the day and help you stay focused on your goals and purpose. Taking a few moments each morning to focus on your prayer can help you start each day off on the right foot.

Today’s Bible reading Tuesday January 24 2023
John 2:1-11
On the third day there was a wedding at Cana in Galilee, and the mother of Jesus was there. Jesus also was invited to the wedding with his disciples. When the wine ran out, the mother of Jesus said to him, “They have no wine.” And Jesus said to her, “Woman, what does this have to do with me?
My hour has not yet come.” His mother said to the servants, “Do whatever he tells you.” Now there were six stone water jars there for the Jewish rites of purification, each holding twenty or thirty gallons. Jesus said to the servants, “Fill the jars with water.” And they filled them up to the brim. And he said to them, “Now draw some out and take it to the master of the feast.” So they took it.
When the master of the feast tasted the water now become wine, and did not know where it came from (though the servants who had drawn the water knew), the master of the feast called the bridegroom and said to him, “Everyone serves the good wine first, and when people have drunk freely, then the poor wine.
But you have kept the good wine until now.” This, the first of his signs, Jesus did at Cana in Galilee, and manifested his glory. And his disciples believed in him.
