TREM Daily Devotional November 15 2022.

The theme for TREM Daily Devotional November 15 2022 is ”GOD IS FAVOURABLY DISPOSED TOWARDS YOU”.

Here is today’s TREM daily devotional designed for your today’s spiritual refreshment. Kindly read today’s teaching by Pastor Mike Okonkwo, meditate on the word of God and endeavour to act in accordance with them. As you start your day with God through his word, may he go before you to perfect all you have to do today.

SCRIPTURE:-Ephesians 2:4 (KJV)N  “But God, who is rich in mercy, for his great love wherewith he loved us.

Beloved, the mercy of God does not come from God’s anger towards you. It flows from the love of God for you. God can only relate with us from the position of mercy. Mercy is God favourably disposed to dispensing only good to you. It is God’s favourable disposition not to kill you, punish you the way you deserve. God’s favourable disposition is not to throw you away because you have failed blew it or messed up. It is not a New Testament position. It has been the only way God has chosen to relate with us from the beginning.

After Adam and his wife had sinned and gone into hiding (Genesis 3:8), then God came, as usual, walking into the Garden of Eden in the cool of the day looking forward to fellowship with him and Adam was nowhere to be found. Adam and his wife have covered themselves with fig leaves and gone into hiding from the presence of the Lord. It was the Lord who called unto Adam and said where are thou? Where are you? I am looking for you for our fellowship; I desire you to come around let’s enjoy ourselves. Jump on my lap and enjoy yourself in my presence. That is how much God enjoys fellowship with us.

Adam said when I heard your voice, I was afraid because I was naked, and I hid. You will be surprised how many people are hiding, running away from God up till now. Running from God because they see him as a terror looking for them to kill, waiting for your next mistake, or fault or to just slip a little bit and you are dead. Stop running away from God even if you miss it. God already knew it and made provision for it. God is not mad at you. He knew that He made you from dirt and you would easily go back to your dirt. God is always ahead of you and He loves you with an everlasting love.
