Here is today’s TREM daily devotional designed for your today’s spiritual refreshment. Kindly read today’s teaching by Pastor Mike Okonkwo, meditate on the word of God and endeavour to act in accordance with them. As you start your day with God through his word, may he go before you to perfect all you have to do today.

SCRIPTURE: “According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love:” Ephesians 1: 4 (KJV) .

Beloved, life is like a movie production. We are the actors in the play in life, and the master producer has already figured everything out. Everything is already finished, nothing more to be added, nothing to be removed, everything is completed. Everything about your life has been perfected before you came into the scene. God has chosen you in him before the foundation of the world.

God said to Jeremiah before I formed thee in the belly, I knew thee, and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee a prophet unto the nations (Jeremiah 1:5). Child, of God, before you were born, God already knew you. That means that your beginning was not when you arrived on the earth. God said to Jeremiah that he was sanctified and ordained as a prophet to the nations even before he was born. It means that your future, your assignment, your purpose, and your part in the script have already been determined by God. So, no devil can take you out before your time. You must accomplish your part and no other person can accomplish it.

Jeremiah wanted to argue with God. But God told him that he would fulfil everything that has been spoken about him. God said, I will hasten my word to perform it, I will ensure that all that I have spoken will all come to pass. In Chapter 29 of Jeremiah and verse 11, God said, for I know the thoughts that I think toward you, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you an expected end. I like the next verse (vs12), then shall you call upon me and you shall go and pray unto me, and I will hearken unto you. It is this understanding that will cause you to pray and I will have no option but to answer you. You are predestined for glory and not for shame. Every story of reproach, shame, and embarrassment in your life is rolled away.
