The duo were brought together by Shane’s viral post on social media. Prior to their marriage, Shane and Jessica Winnings had a 10 month distance relation. They finally got married in 2018. Their marriage has been blessed with a son named Elijah who was born in December 2021.

Winnings is a former Afghan police officer and veteran. He served as a law enforcement officer with the Federal Way Police Department in Washington for a period of 5 years before resigning in 2021.
According to Shane, his life changed dramatically on May 1, 2021, when the Lord came to him and told him to leave his job and become an unpaid missionary.
Shane and his wife landed in McKinney, Texas, 19 days later, to begin a new life based on God’s instructions.

Shane has joined One Voice Student Missions as a missionary. He works as a Social Director for the Jesus Clubs, where he oversees and directs a team of all-digital missionaries with a combined following of approximately 10 million people.
The purpose of digital missions is to encourage in-person evangelism, promote events, and serve as a platform for preaching the gospel to audiences that no man-made stadium could ever hold.
