See what Joyce Meyer did before her father accepted Christ and got baptized

Joyce Meyer father : The founder of Joyce Meyer Ministies, Joyce Meyer is an example of motivation personified. Growing up with her father was not easy at all for Joyce. As a matter of fact, she passed through a lot including harrasment from the father.

Encouraging whomever is making effort to lead someone to Christ, Joyce Meyer took to Instagram to write about her father’s acceptance of Christ and baptism , thus:

“If you’ve been praying for your Father – don’t give up! This picture of my dad getting baptized is quite a miracle and will hopefully encourage you to believe that with God, anything is possible! Let me share what I mean…

Father’s Day was never a good day for me. Because my dad had sexually abused me for years, I spent a lot of time being angry and bitter. But with God’s loving help, I gradually came to the realization that I needed to make a choice to forgive him, even though it seemed impossible. We never had a close relationship, but I was able to forgive my dad. Before his death, I was blessed to lead him to accept Jesus as his Savior and had the privilege of baptizing him. Even though Satan stole what should have been a normal, loving relationship between a father and his daughter, God brought restoration and healing.

And he can do that for you too! I know Father’s Day can be a difficult day for many of you and I understand how you feel. But I also have seen God move in big ways in my life and in the life of my father. So keep praying and know that I am praying with you.” -Joyce.
Speaking further on his father’s acceptance of Chrust and consequent baptism, Joyce stated thus:
Anytime i think of this, i cry, what a moment? God forgives even the worst sinner and he certainly redeemed your life from ashes. My father only on his deathbed in 1978, said, okay, please pray for me.
I gladly prayed for him that God would show mercy. Anyutime I look at this picture, I cry but i also feel extremely happy that i had the opportunity of seeing my dad repent and give his life to Christ.
