Rahab Mother Of Boaz : The story of Ruth is a special book in the Bible. It tells us that God remembers everything we do for Him and He rewards us with good things in return. In this case, it was a great man named Boaz who was rewarded with a wife who was also called Ruth! This is so exciting because it means that there are many more people like you and me out there who can be used by God to accomplish great things!
Rahab Mother Of Boaz
Boaz appeared to be a good man from the start: Ruth 2:1 “And Naomi had a kinsman of her husband’s, a mighty man of wealth, of the family of Elimelech; and his name was Boaz.” He was honorable and kind. He gave her water when she came in exhausted from the fields, he allowed her to glean the grain behind his reapers, he fed her lunch and encouraged her.
But I think it is interesting that he took an interest in Ruth because of her good character. Ruth 2:11 “And Boaz answered and said unto her, It hath fully been shewed me, all that thou hast done unto thy mother in law since the death of thine husband: and how thou hast left thy father and thy mother, and the land of thy nativity, and art come unto a people which thou knewest not heretofore.”
In the book of Ruth, Boaz was impressed with Ruth for her good character. He had a very high regard for her because she was kind and generous. She had a great deal of selflessness and he admired that in her.
I think it is interesting that he took an interest in Ruth because of her good character. He saw that she was a good person who did not have any bad intentions or selfish motives and he wanted to get to know this woman who had so many wonderful qualities that would make her an excellent wife or even mother.
Boaz also asked about Rahab when he found out about Ruth’s lineage. He certainly remembered this woman called Rahab who had helped protect his ancestors Joshua and Caleb so many years ago. It is now time that she finally gets recognized as the Mother of one of Israel’s greatest men! This is incredibly exciting! God is giving Rahab her due credit!

When we read what happened to Boaz after he became king, it tells us that there was a man from Bethlehem named Jesse who had eight sons. The eldest son was Eliab, and then came his brother Abinadab, followed by Shimea and then Nethanel. Then came David who was born in Bethlehem just like Boaz—and he would eventually become King David of Israel!
God remembers everything we do for Him!
God is faithful to you. He remembers all the good things you do and never forgets them. God is merciful, so when you make mistakes, he gives you another chance. God is just: If you are good, he will reward your goodness with blessings; if you are bad and do wrong things against him, he will punish your sins with his judgment and justice. But because of his great love for us humans, God forgets our sins once we confess them and ask for forgiveness in Christ’s name (1 John 1:9).
The Bible is full of stories that teach us lessons about life and faith. The story of Rahab is one such example. God has been so good to me over the years, so I wanted to share my own experience with others in hopes that they can learn from my mistakes as well!
