Prophet Lovy Elias Longomba also known as Dr. Lovy Elias is the senior pastor and founder of Revelation Church of Jesus Christ. He is a Kenyan pastor, songwriter, musician and life coach. He is also popular for Hip-hop musical group called the Longombas.
He is commonly known by his stage name Lovy Longomba and as Prophet Lovy Elias. In 2020, Elias officially changed his name to Lovy Elias.
PROPHET LOVY ELIAS BIOGRAPHY
Prophet Lovy Elias Longomba was born on the 25th of November, 1985, in Nairobi, Kenya, but a Congolese descendant. Lovy came from a Christian home where he learned so much especially from his mother and his uncle. At age of 6, Lovy had a vision where God told him he was going to be a prophet. At the age of 14, he formed a music group of Hip Hop trio called “The Longombas” with his brother and a cousin in Kenya there but later left and relocated to Los Angeles, California in 2007, where he founded his Ministries (RCJC). His former music band (The Longomba’s) has won several Awards there in Kenya.
PARENTS AND SIBLINGS
The Congolese nationale, Lovy Elias was born and raised in Nairobi, Kenya. Prophet Lovy hailed from a deep root of East African/Congolese Premier Music linage. His grandfather Vicky Longomba was a member of a band known as Tout puissant OK Jazz and his biological father Lovy Longomba Sr. was also a member of a band called Orchestra Super Mazemba. His uncle Awilo Longomba is also a well-known and respected Soukous Musician. It wasn’t a surprise when Lovy followed the footstep of his family forming his own Afro-fusion and Hip-Hop trio (The Longomba’s) with his brother Christian and Marengo his cousin, at the age of fourteen. His group was enjoying success there in Kenya, winning several music Awards and enjoying extensive tour before Lovy relocated to Los Angeles, California, in 2007. There in California, Prophet Longomba Re-focused his attention on writing song and producing for well-known and established artist.

Elias was formerly married to Idah (née Onyango) Longomba. and they had one child named Andrew Elias. Elias was married to the former Idah (nee Onyango) Longomba. They have a son, Andrew. On June 16, 2017, he filed for a dissolution of marriage with a minor child in Los Angeles Superior Court.

After lovy Longomba graduated from High school, he ventured into music where he formed a band of Afro Hip Hop Known as “The Longombas” together with his brother and one of his cousins. The group made way and ruled the Kenyan music in the early 2000’s to 2006 touring and winning awards until Lovy relocated to USA in 2007 and the group was disbanded. Lovy was acknowledged as one of the writers and producers of the Grammy nominated record Change Your Life by (Iggy Azalea debut) in 2014.

Prophet Lovy Elias Longomba is the Founder of Revelation Church of Jesus Christ located in Los Angeles, California. According to Elias, God showed him a vision when he was 6 years old that he was going to be a prophet. Howver, at a time he tried running away from the call, eventually found his way back according to God’s divine plan. According to Lovy Longomba, things that motivate us can end but only God’s divine purpose lasts forever and that gave birth to (RCJC).
In 2013 Prophet Elias Longomba started holding a weekly Bible studies and fellowship in his room in Valley Glenn, California. It initially began with five members in attendance at the first Bible study and eventually membership grew to about 130 people in attendance weekly for house fellowship.
Lovy Longomba decided to go to God for divine guidance after praying and listening to Gods direction, lovy launched his Ministry, “Revelation Church of Jesus Christ” (RCJC). It’s a prophetic ministry preaching the love of God and prophesying in the lives of the believers through the word of God. on the 14th July 2014, RCJC began holding fellowships in Van Nuys California.
Currently, hundreds gather every Thursday, and thousands join-in from everywhere around the world via live stream as Prophet Lovy Longomba teaches the word of God to Unlock the revelation of spiritual mysteries through Prophesies, healings and diverse Miracles, restoration of family breakthrough, signs and wonders. Lovey Longomba is in God’s divine purpose of spreading the gospel across the nations.
By 2016, the prayer group had outgrown the living room’s capacity. To meet their needs, Elias began renting space in Van Nuys, California.
Elias began holding fellowships in Van Nuys, California, on July 14, 2016. He began preaching as the head pastor of Revelation Church of Jesus Christ in 2017. Since then, the church has expanded to over a thousand members, with thousands more tuning in online. Many attendees hailed the church services as “miracle-filled.” Elias is also a celebrity and athlete life coach.
Prophet Lovy Elias began live-streaming his lectures on sites like YouTube and Facebook on April 3, 2019. Elias continues to live-stream his classes, and all previous classes are archived and available on YouTube.
Elias moved the headquarters and worship center of the Revelation Church of Jesus Christ to Simi Valley, California, on February 7, 2021. He leads sermons every Thursday and Sunday for the church.
