Prayer Points for the Month of September 2024
As we step into the month of September 2024, it’s essential to seek God’s guidance, protection, and blessings through prayer. Scripture: Proverbs 3:5-6 – “Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths.”
Prayer: Lord, I commit the month of September into Your hands. Guide my steps and decisions, and lead me in the path of righteousness. Help me to trust in Your wisdom rather than my own understanding. May Your Holy Spirit direct every choice I make, and may Your will be done in my life. Amen.
3. Prayer for Protection
Scripture: Psalm 91:4 – “He will cover you with His feathers, and under His wings you will find refuge; His faithfulness will be your shield and rampart.”
Prayer: Almighty God, I seek Your divine protection over my life, my family, and all that concerns me this month. Cover us under the shadow of Your wings and shield us from every harm, danger, and attack of the enemy. Let Your angels surround us and keep us safe in all our ways. Amen.

Scripture: Philippians 4:19 – “And my God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus.”
Prayer: Heavenly Father, I trust You as my provider. I lift up my financial needs to You this month, believing that You will supply all my needs according to Your riches in glory. Bless the work of my hands and grant me wisdom to manage my resources well. Open doors of opportunity and favor in my finances. Amen.

Scripture: Joshua 24:15 – “But as for me and my household, we will serve the Lord.”
Prayer: Lord, I commit my family and relationships into Your hands this month. Let Your love, peace, and unity reign in our home. Strengthen our bonds and help us to support and encourage one another. May we all grow in our love for You and be a light to others. Amen.
7. Prayer for Health and Healing
Scripture: Isaiah 53:5 – “But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities; the chastisement for our peace was upon Him, and by His stripes we are healed.”
Prayer: Mighty Healer, I pray for divine health and healing over my life and the lives of my loved ones this month. By the stripes of Jesus, I declare healing from every sickness, disease, and infirmity. Renew our strength and restore our health. May we walk in Your divine health all through this month. Amen.
8. Prayer for Breakthroughs
Scripture: Isaiah 43:19 – “Behold, I will do a new thing, now it shall spring forth; shall you not know it? I will even make a road in the wilderness and rivers in the desert.”
Prayer: Lord, I believe that You are the God of breakthroughs. This month, I pray for breakthroughs in every area of my life where I have been experiencing delays, setbacks, or challenges. Open new doors and make a way where there seems to be no way. Let Your favor bring about the breakthroughs I have been praying for. Amen.

Scripture: James 1:5 – “If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him.”
Prayer: Father, I ask for wisdom and understanding as I navigate through this month. Grant me insight and clarity in all my endeavors. Help me to make wise decisions and to discern Your will in every situation. Let Your wisdom guide me to success and fulfillment. Amen.

- Father, thank You for creating me in Your image and in Your likeness, thank You for grace to know You as my Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ.
- Father, I declare, I am Your own, till the day You will come, Jesus!, I am Your own.
- Father, please, in any area I have not glorified You but have been reflecting the character and personality of the devil, have mercy and forgive me Lord.
- Father, because I have been bought with the blood of Jesus, through His sufferings, death and resurrection, my life will continually bring forth, good fruit of the Spirit, in Jesus’ name.

Prayer For The Month of September 2024
Heavenly Father,
As we enter into the month of September 2024, we come before You with hearts full of gratitude and expectation. We thank You for Your unfailing love, Your mercy that is new every morning, and Your grace that has brought us this far. Lord, we acknowledge that without You, we can do nothing, and so we surrender this entire month into Your hands.
1. Thanksgiving and Gratitude:
Lord, we begin by thanking You for the gift of life and for all the blessings You have bestowed upon us in the past months. We are grateful for Your protection, provision, and the countless ways You have shown Yourself faithful. As we step into September, we rejoice in the knowledge that You are with us, and we give You all the glory, honor, and praise for what You are about to do.
2. Divine Guidance and Wisdom:
Father, Your Word says that the steps of a righteous man are ordered by the Lord (Psalm 37:23). We ask for Your divine guidance throughout this month. Direct our paths and lead us in the way we should go. Give us wisdom in all our decisions, and help us to discern Your will in every situation. May we not lean on our own understanding but trust in You completely, knowing that You will make our paths straight.
3. Protection and Deliverance:
Lord, we seek Your protection over our lives, our families, and all that concerns us. We ask that You cover us with Your wings and keep us safe from every harm, danger, and attack of the enemy. Surround us with Your angels and deliver us from every evil plan. May no weapon formed against us prosper, and may every tongue that rises against us in judgment be condemned (Isaiah 54:17). Keep us under the shadow of Your wings, and let us find refuge in You alone.
4. Spiritual Growth and Renewal:
Father, we desire to grow closer to You in this new month. Draw us nearer to Your heart, and help us to seek You with all our hearts, minds, and souls. Fill us with a hunger for Your Word and a thirst for Your presence. Renew our minds and transform our lives by the power of Your Holy Spirit. Strengthen our faith, deepen our understanding of Your love, and help us to walk in obedience to Your commands.
5. Provision and Financial Breakthroughs :
Jehovah Jireh, our provider, we lift up our financial needs to You this month. We trust in Your promise to supply all our needs according to Your riches in glory (Philippians 4:19). We ask for breakthroughs in our finances, for open doors of opportunity, and for the wisdom to manage our resources according to Your will. Bless the work of our hands and grant us favor in all our endeavors. May we experience abundance and overflow as we honor You with our tithes and offerings.
6. Healing and Restoration :
Lord, You are the Great Physician, and we come before You asking for healing and restoration in every area of our lives. Heal our bodies from every sickness, disease, and infirmity. Restore our strength and renew our health. We also ask for emotional and spiritual healing for those who are hurting or broken. Let Your healing touch bring wholeness and peace to our hearts, minds, and souls.
7. Peace and Joy :
Father, we ask for Your peace that surpasses all understanding to guard our hearts and minds this month (Philippians 4:7). Let Your peace reign in our homes, our workplaces, and our communities. Fill us with Your joy, which is our strength, and let us find delight in Your presence. No matter what challenges or trials we may face, may we remain steadfast in our faith, knowing that You are our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.
8. Favor and Breakthroughs :
Lord, we pray for Your divine favor to surround us like a shield (Psalm 5:12). Let Your favor open doors that no man can shut and bring about breakthroughs in every area of our lives. Whether in our careers, relationships, or spiritual walk, may we experience Your miraculous hand at work. We trust that You are able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us (Ephesians 3:20).
9. Strength and Endurance :
Father, we ask for strength and endurance to run the race set before us. When we are weary, renew our strength; when we are discouraged, lift us up. Help us to keep our eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith (Hebrews 12:2). May we not grow weary in doing good, for in due season we will reap if we do not give up (Galatians 6:9).
10. Closing and Dedication:
Lord, we dedicate the month of September 2024 to You. We commit our plans, our goals, and our desires into Your hands. We ask that You take control of every aspect of our lives and that Your will be done in us and through us.
