Heavenly Father,
We come before You at the close of this month of May with hearts full of gratitude. We thank You for Your steadfast love and endless mercy that have sustained us throughout this month. We recognize Your hand in every blessing, every challenge, and every moment of our lives.
Thanksgiving:
We thank You, Lord, for the gift of life and the breath in our lungs. Thank You for the health, strength, and peace that You have bestowed upon us. We are grateful for the provision of our daily needs, for the food on our tables, the shelter over our heads, and the clothes on our backs. Thank You for the family and friends You have surrounded us with, for their love, support, and encouragement.
Thank You, Lord, for the opportunities and achievements that have come our way this month. We are grateful for the growth and progress we have made in our personal, professional, and spiritual lives. Thank You for the lessons learned through trials and tribulations, for they have drawn us closer to You and strengthened our faith.
Mercy:
Father, we acknowledge our shortcomings and sins before You. We confess that we have not always lived according to Your will and have often fallen short of Your glory. We humbly ask for Your forgiveness. Cleanse us from all unrighteousness and create in us pure hearts, O God. Help us to turn away from sin and to seek Your face earnestly.
We pray for Your mercy upon our loved ones, our communities, and our nations. Have mercy on those who are suffering, those who are in pain, and those who are lost. Extend Your healing hand to the sick, comfort the brokenhearted, and provide for the needy. May Your mercy prevail over judgment, and may Your grace abound in our lives.
Request:
As we move into a new month, we seek Your guidance and protection. Lord, direct our steps and lead us in the paths of righteousness. Grant us wisdom and discernment in all our decisions and actions. Help us to walk in obedience to Your word and to trust in Your perfect plan for our lives.
We pray for Your favor and blessings upon our endeavors. Open doors of opportunity and pour out Your blessings upon our work, our studies, and our ministries. Grant us success in all that we do according to Your will.
Lord, we lift up our families and loved ones to You. Protect them from harm, bless their efforts, and fill their hearts with Your peace and joy. Strengthen our relationships and help us to love one another deeply, just as You have loved us.
We also pray for our leaders and those in authority. Grant them wisdom and integrity to lead with justice and compassion. May Your peace reign in our communities, our countries, and our world.
Closing:
Thank You, Lord, for hearing our prayers. We trust in Your unfailing love and faithfulness. As we end this month of May, we place our lives in Your hands, knowing that You are with us always. May Your name be glorified in all that we do, and may Your will be done in our lives.
