Prayer For Strength For A Friend

A friend of mine is going through a really tough time. I’ve offered to help him in any way that I can, but my words of comfort don’t seem to be enough. It’s not like we can just get over this, either—it’s something that will take time and effort on both our parts. The only thing that’ll really help us cope is prayer. If you could say a few words for us on our behalf, it would mean so much more than you know!

Prayer For Strength For A Friend

1. God,

God, You are my friend.

I know that sometimes I don’t see you or hear from you. But I know that this is because I am blind to the ways in which You speak to me, and not because You have abandoned me. If anything, it is my own heart that is far away from Yours; but even when my flesh rebels against your will, even when I feel like giving up hope amidst my struggles and trials, still I trust in Your unfailing love for me—a love greater than all of creation!

So give me strength: strength to face whatever comes next with courage and faithfulness; strength to fight temptation; strength to stand firm under persecution; strength to keep on reaching out in love toward those who need healing. And most of all help me not be afraid!

2. Because you walk with us every day,

When you’re struggling with something, it’s easy to feel alone. You might wonder if anyone is listening or if anyone cares. But I want you to know that God is with you every day, and he will never leave your side. He walks along beside all of us, guiding and supporting us, even when we don’t realize it.

When a friend of yours has a bad day, God is there for them too. When someone in your family hurts from an illness or another challenge, God walks with them as well—and for each person who’s ever lived on this earth since the beginning of time until now (and beyond). He does this because he loves each one equally and wants nothing more than their happiness and well-being!

When our pets are sick or injured or sad about something like being left home alone without food during the day while we’re at work all week long…well guess what? God cares about what happens to animals just as much as people do! Even though they may not always understand why things happen (just like we don’t always understand why certain things happen either), they still deserve our compassion because they feel pain just like any other living creature does; whether physically or emotionally…it doesn’t matter—because everyone needs love!

3. And are always there for us,

God is always there for us, no matter what. He is a friend that you can count on and trust with all your heart. When times are tough, God will be right by your side lending support and encouragement. No matter how low you feel or how dark the world looks around you, he will help lift up your spirits and restore hope in your life. Even when things seem bleakest, his love will see you through to victory!

4. And because we know that you love us even more than our own parents do.

What a gift it is to have parents who love us unconditionally! We were created by God and adopted into families, but even these relationships can be marred by sin. Our parents may fall short of the ideal, and we may suffer through their mistakes both in life and after death.

God’s love for us is greater than any other kind of love. Jesus Christ came to earth as a man to die on the cross so that we might be forgiven of our sins and live with Him forever in Heaven (John 3:16; Romans 5:8). In His great mercy, He has given us this grace freely because He loves us so much (Romans 5:8).

5. I ask your protection upon my friend today.

Dear God,

I ask that you watch over my friend today. I ask that you protect them from harm and keep them safe, physically and emotionally. Please help them to stay calm in the midst of their challenges, and give them the strength to cope with whatever comes their way. Let their faith grow stronger each day as they spend time with you and reflect on your words through scripture reading or prayer time. Be with their family members who may be feeling worried about their loved one’s safety. Keep us all from falling into sin as we face our challenges head-on together!

6. Let him feel your presence beside him in all he does.

Let him know that you are always there for him through good times and bad.

When he feels alone, remind him that God is always with him. When he has a difficult decision to make, help him remember that God will guide his decisions and lead him in the right direction. Remind your friend that even when things feel hopeless, God still loves them and has a plan for their life. And if all else fails, let them know that even when they don’t think anyone cares about them or needs them…there is still someone who does: You!

7. Give him the strength to fight the good fight,

When you pray for your friend, don’t forget to ask God to give him the strength and courage he needs to fight the good fight. He may be facing some challenging circumstances that require him to stand up for what he believes in and fight for his family and friends.

The Bible says that we should never be ashamed of our faith, but neither should we brag about it (1 Peter 3:16). The world is full of people who are not interested in fighting for what’s right. They’re more focused on their own selfish desires than anything else—and they don’t care who gets hurt as long as they get what they want!

But God has called us to be different from those people. He wants us to live a life where we are willing to stand up against evil when others won’t do anything about it—even if it means going against popular opinion or even risking our freedom by speaking out against injustice.

8. And to live another day,

To live another day is a blessing. To live another day is a gift, and to be able to spend that day with those you love is an even greater privilege. To have the opportunity to get up and do it all again tomorrow—this time perhaps with some wisdom gained from yesterday—is miraculous, and it should be cherished above all else.

And in this moment of pause and reflection on how easily your life could have ended before its time, I want you to think about what has been given to you: the gift of life itself; the presence of those who care about you; the strength to endure whatever challenges may come your way; even something as simple as enough food on your plate every night when so many people struggle just for survival each day.

9. To experience your goodness and grace anew.

Dear God,

We thank you for the many blessings we have been given. We ask that you help us find gratitude in all things and that you remind us of these blessings so that we may remember to be thankful for each one as it comes into our lives. Help us to see the good in everything, even when it seems like there is nothing but darkness surrounding our lives. In your name, we pray, amen.

10. For you have promised never to leave us nor forsake us,

When you’re feeling like you can’t go on when you feel as though the weight of your circumstances will drag you down forever, remember that God is always there for us. He will never leave us or forsake us (Joshua 1:5). When we are weak, He is strong; when we feel alone in the world, He is there with us (2 Corinthians 12:9).

When we have friends and family who love and support us during our times of struggle and hardship it makes everything easier to bear. But sometimes our friends can’t always be there for us because they’re struggling too or maybe they’re traveling abroad on vacation or taking care of a sick parent back home. This prayer reminds us that no matter what situation we find ourselves facing alone in this world—God loves me unconditionally!

11. So help us through these troubling times. Amen.

So help us through these troubling times. Amen.

Keep our family in your loving care and safe keeping.

We thank you for your many blessings and ask that they be multiplied upon us even more abundantly in the coming year.

We pray for peace on earth, goodwill toward men and women, safety from danger and harm, and justice for all peoples regardless of ethnicity or national origin; we pray for an end to war everywhere; we pray for understanding among nations so that love prevails over hatred; we pray for those who struggle with poverty so that they may be lifted up by their communities into lives of abundance and prosperity; we pray also that those who suffer from addiction may find freedom from their bondage to substances which enslave them rather than free them from their problems; we pray also that those who are terminally ill may find comfort in knowing how much God loves each one of them as he cares deeply about every aspect of our lives – even our final moments here on earth before moving into eternity with him forevermore! We ask these things through Christ Jesus our Lord who has shown us what it means to live life fully – both now while here on earth but also afterward when he returns once again as King over all creation! Amen!!

It’s important to remember that friends are family. They love you unconditionally and will always be there for you when times are tough. When someone you care about is in need of strength, it’s important that we all come together to help them through their struggles. Just knowing that people care about each other can make a world of difference!

Takeaway: So pray for your friend with us today as we lift up their needs before our Father in Heaven. He loves us so much and wants us all to be happy! God bless everyone reading this blog post today!
