Prayer For Physical Healing

Dear Heavenly Father,

I come to You with a heavy heart and a plea for healing. You know me better than anyone else in the world, and I trust in Your plan for me and my family. When times get tough and I feel unwell, give me the strength to persevere because there is so much that needs to be done in this world. Forgive me for blaming You when I’m in pain – I know it’s not Your fault! In Your name, I pray that You would heal me from all sicknesses, protect me from all evil in the world today, and keep us close as we face challenges ahead. Thank you for blessing us with our health – may we always remember how precious it is!

Prayer For Physical Healing

1. Heavenly Father,

Heavenly Father,

When times get tough and I feel unwell, remind me that You are there with me always. Give me the strength to persevere when things seem hopeless and may be tempted to give up on life. Forgive me for blaming You when I’m in pain or need your help the most—I know that it is not always Your will for us to suffer or die young, but rather so we can learn from our mistakes on Earth and better prepare ourselves for eternal life with You in Heaven. In Your name, I pray, Amen.”

2. You are my Lord and Savior.

Dear God, you are my Lord and Savior, and you are the author of life. You have given me this opportunity to be healed. I pray that you will restore me completely, according to your word in Matthew 10:8: “Heal the sick, raise the dead, cleanse those who have leprosy”—and many other scriptures throughout the Bible. I believe that with your power within me, I can do all things through Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:13).

You gave us authority over all sicknesses when you said in Mark 16:17-18: “And these signs will accompany those who believe: In My name, they will drive out demons; they will speak new languages; they will pick up snakes with their hands, and when they drink deadly poison it will not hurt them at all; they will place their hands on sick people and heal them.”

Help us use this power wisely and give us discernment when dealing with illness so we may serve as witnesses for Your kingdom!

3. I fear not because I know You are with me.

You may feel afraid, but do not fear. I know that you are worried and that you do not believe that God is with you, but He will always be there for you. He will never leave or forsake you, no matter how many times others try to tear down your faith in Him. He is the ultimate healer and protector—the one who has promised to never leave your side or give up on saving you from your struggles and fears.

4. You know the desires of my heart

When you pray for a loved one, you may be inclined to include your own requests and desires in the heart of your prayer. After all, they’re important and they’re part of the reason why you’re praying—right?

But what if I told you that God knows what’s best for them? He knows their needs better than anyone else could know them. In Psalm 10:17-18 we read:

“But You know my steps; My inclinations have not been hidden from You.”

The psalmist goes on to say that God even knows his thoughts before he speaks them out loud (Psalm 139:2)! So when it comes to physical healing, we should focus our prayers on what God wants for us instead of focusing on our own desires.

5. The hopes, the dreams, and the needs.

There are a number of ways to pray for physical healing. You can ask for a specific thing, such as healing from an illness or injury. You can also ask for general healing, in which case you may or may not know exactly what you are praying for. In this case, it can be beneficial to use the name of someone who is sick or injured and say that they need healing.

You may also wish to pray specifically on behalf of another person you know in order to bring them through a difficult time spiritually or physically. If your friend has cancer then consider asking God’s guidance in their treatment plan and ask Him to strengthen them so they will have courage during this difficult time

6. I am not alone.

I am not alone.

God is with me. God is my strength and my Healer. He is my protector and provider. God will never leave me or forsake me (Hebrews 13:5). I know that I can rest in this knowledge, because it’s not just a promise, it’s what the Bible says! Look up some scriptures of comfort for yourself—they will remind you that God is always there for you and he has good things planned for your future!
