    Powerful Sunday Morning Prayer April 23 2023 : It’s a brand new day and Sunday Morning made by the Lord. We are grateful for another opportunity to start anew. Today is a day of rest and worship, a day to reconnect with God and seek His guidance for the week ahead. Let us come before Him with a heart full of gratitude and ask for His blessings upon our lives.

    Bible Verse:

    “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.” – Matthew 11:28 (NIV)

    Morning Devotion For Today:

    Today’s Bible verse reminds us of God’s promise to give us rest. It’s easy to get caught up in the busyness of life and forget to take a moment to rest and recharge. But God tells us to come to Him, to give Him our burdens and worries, and He will provide the rest we need.

    In this world, we will face trials and tribulations, but we can find peace in knowing that God is with us. He is our refuge and strength, a constant source of comfort and hope. Let us lean on Him and trust in His plan for our lives.

    Mighty God, We come before You today with grateful hearts, thanking You for the blessings You have bestowed upon us. As we begin this Sunday morning, we ask for Your guidance and wisdom for the week ahead. We pray that You would fill us with Your peace and rest, that we may find refuge in You when life gets overwhelming.

    We ask that You would be with us throughout the day, guiding our steps and helping us to stay focused on Your will. We pray for Your protection over our families and loved ones, and ask that You would watch over us as we go about our daily activities.

    We thank You for Your love and grace, and for the sacrifice of Your Son, Jesus Christ, who died for our sins. We ask that You would continue to work in our lives, shaping us into the people You want us to be.

    We lift up our voices in praise and thanksgiving, knowing that You are worthy of all honor and glory. We pray all these things in Jesus’ name.

    Amen.
