Peter Toganivalu Sermons 13 September 2021 Immovable – Have you ever drifted of course? in your businesses, relationships and even in life, life throws challenges at us and some times this challenges lead to us loosing ourselves, loosing our grip and getting discouraged to the point that we loose focus of the main thing and purpose which is God. Isaiah 53:2-6 says, “All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way; and the LORD hath laid on him the iniquity of us all”.
Its a great thing that God has never lost sight of us. even when we drift apart and get missing, he still has his eyes on us. sometimes our emotions get the best of us and leads the narrative, but it is important we note that emotions have no intellect, they only connect themselves to whatever thought is taking place at the moment. God wants us to remain immovable and steadfast in our faith. even though we loose faith and drift apart from God, we are advised to come back to God and hold on to him and be immovable in him. Isaiah 26;3 says, “Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee”. This is the promise for those who are steadfast in him, he will give them perfect peace.
It should be our aim to have perfect peace because perfect peace can only come from our lord God through steadfastness in him.
