Morning Prayer For Today Friday March 3 2023 :

    Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before you on this beautiful Friday morning, with hearts full of gratitude and thanksgiving for the blessings you have poured out on us. We thank you for the gift of life, health, family, friends, and for the opportunity to wake up to a new day filled with new possibilities.

As we begin our day, we ask that you go before us and prepare the way. Help us to walk in your will, to be guided by your word, and to be led by your Holy Spirit. Give us the strength, courage, and wisdom to face whatever challenges may come our way, knowing that you are with us and will never leave us nor forsake us.

Lord, we pray for your peace to reign in our hearts and in our world. We ask that you comfort those who are hurting, heal those who are sick, and provide for those who are in need. We pray for those who are struggling with anxiety, depression, addiction, and any other form of mental health issue. We ask that you surround them with your love, grace, and mercy, and bring healing and restoration to their minds, hearts, and souls.

Father, we pray for our families, friends, and loved ones. We ask that you bless them, protect them, and keep them safe from harm. We pray that you draw them closer to you, and help them to experience your love and grace in a real and tangible way.

Lord, we also lift up our leaders, both in our nation and around the world. We pray for wisdom, discernment, and guidance for those who are in positions of authority, that they may make decisions that honor you and benefit those they serve. We ask that you unite our nation and bring about healing, justice, and reconciliation.

Finally, Lord, we ask that you give us the strength to walk in obedience to your will, and to be a light to those around us. Help us to love our neighbors as ourselves, to be kind and compassionate, and to always speak the truth in love. We ask that you use us to share your love and grace with those who may not yet know you, and that we may be a witness to your goodness and mercy.

We ask all these things in the name of your son, Jesus Christ, who taught us to pray:

Our Father, who art in heaven,
    Hallowed be thy Name.
    Thy Kingdom come.
    Thy will be done,
On earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread.
    And forgive us our trespasses,
As we forgive those who trespass against us.
And lead us not into temptation,
    But deliver us from evil.
    For thine is the kingdom,
And the power, and the glory,
    For ever and ever.

    Amen.

Bible Verse: “Let the morning bring me word of your unfailing love, for I have put my trust in you. Show me the way I should go, for to you I entrust my life.” – Psalm 143:8 (NIV)

This verse reminds us of the importance of starting our day with a focus on God’s unfailing love and our trust in Him. It is a prayer for guidance, direction, and protection as we navigate the challenges and opportunities of life. By entrusting our lives to God, we can have confidence that He will lead us in the right direction, and we can rest in His unfailing love and faithfulness.
