As we begin a new week, let us pause and give thanks to God for the grace to see this new day and new week. Let us seek His mercy and grace, and ask for His strength and guidance throughout the day and the week ahead. We can trust in His love and faithfulness to us, and rest in the knowledge that He is with us always.
Bible Reading:
- Psalm 118:24 – “This is the day the Lord has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it.”
This verse reminds us that each day is a gift from God, and we should be grateful for it. We should take the time to rejoice and give thanks to God for the opportunities that each new day brings.

Monday Morning Prayer For Today May 8 2023:
Oh God of all creation, we come before you with grateful hearts, thanking you for the grace to see this new day and new week. We thank you for your love and faithfulness to us, and for the opportunities that each new day brings.
Lord, we ask for your mercy and grace to be with us throughout the day and the week ahead. We pray for your strength and guidance, that we may follow you and do your will in all that we do. Help us to rely on your power and grace to carry us through any challenges that may come our way.
Lord, we ask for your protection over us and our families. Keep us safe from all harm, and guide us in all that we do. We pray for those who are hurting, lonely, or in need, that you may provide for their needs and comfort them with your love.
Lord, we trust in your love and care for us. We know that you are with us always, watching over us and guiding us. We ask for your blessings on our lives and for the grace to follow you each day.
We thank you for your goodness and faithfulness to us. We ask all these things in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
