Malachi Jakes fully known as Malachi Xander Jakes is the first child/son of the famous preacher, pastor Sarah Jakes Roberts and the grandson of the renowned preacher, author, film maker and founder of Potters House Church Dallas, Bishop TD Jakes . Malachi is a renowned American blogger and theatre student.
Malachi Jakes was born on August 21, 2002 to his young teenage mother, Sarah Jakes. Sarah’s pregnancy rocked the christian world because of who her father is. Her father, Bishop T.D Jakes is a popular preacher. That is why, his unmarried teenage daughter’s pregnancy came as a shock. Despite the shock, TD Jakes love for her daughter outweighed everything and he remianed on the side of her daughter throughout the period of tyhe pregancy, encouraging and inspiring her.
Eventually, Sarah got married to Robert Henson, an NFL player whom she divorced four years later. Currently, Malachi’s mum is married to Toure Robert with whom she pastors The ONE church, LA.

Xander Jakes attended the Colardo School of Acting in 2017, where he took the Advanced Film Acting Course .He also attended the Rock Canyon High School.
Sarah Jakes inspired Malachi greatly in his interest in the theatre. Commenting on her mother’s support and inspiration, Malachi on his blog, talked about how his mother, Sarah Jakes Roberts inspired his interest in the theatre.
