Kenneth E Hagin was born on the 20th of August, 1917, in McKinney, Texas, to Drake Hagin and Jess Hagin. He was born with a deformed heart and wasn’t expected to live long, but after giving his life to Christ in April 1933, Kenneth E Hagin encountered God.
On the 8th of August, 1934, Kenneth E Hagin was raised from his deathbed through the revelation of “Faith in the Word of God.” He was healed of paralysis and could walk normally.

Kenneth E Hagin married his wife Oretha Rooker on the 25th of November, 1938. They had two children, a son Kenneth Hagin Jnr and a daughter Patricia (Hagin) Harrison. His son Kenneth Wayne Hagin is now a pastor of the Rhema Bible Church and president of the Kenneth Hagin Ministries.

Kenneth E Hagin started the Kenneth Hagin Ministries on the 23rd of January, 1963, in Garland, Texas. He moved his ministry office to Tulsa, Oklahoma, in September 1966 into a previously owned space.
Kenneth E Hagin started selling his messages on tape during that period; also, in November of that same year, he taught on KSKY, a radio station in Dallas.
