Kenneth Copeland Ministries Hosts Celebration of Life Service for Jerry Savelle

Kenneth Copeland Ministries, led by prominent televangelist Kenneth Copland, has organized a celebration of life service to honor the memory of his “longtime ministry partner and dear friend,” Dr. Jerry Savelle, who passed away recently.

According to the Ministry’s statement, the celebration of life service is scheduled for Friday, April 26th, at 1:30 p.m. CT. The event will take place at Eagle Mountain International Church (EMIC), located at 14355 Morris Dido Road, Newark, Texas 76071, and is free to the public.

The service reflects on the scripture “His Lord said unto him, Well done, thou good and faithful servant” (Matthew 25:21 KJV). For those unable to attend in person, the service will be live-streamed on both the Kenneth Copeland Ministries (KCM) and Eagle Mountain International Church EMIC Facebook and YouTube pages.

Notifying the general public of the celebration of life service, Kenneth Copeland Ministries took to instagram to write :

Today, we received news that our longtime ministry Partner and dear friend, Dr. Jerry Savelle (@jerrysavellemin), has crossed over to heaven, receiving his eternal reward. Brother Copeland shares this statement:

“Jerry and I have been preaching together for over 55 years. We have never had a cross word between us. Our families are intertwined with each other. He was my first preaching partner, other than Gloria. He began in this ministry by driving me to my meetings, setting up the equipment and making the tapes. His first assignment was during the Jesus Revolution. He won so many to the Lord at Pismo Beach, CA. Jerry Savelle is now in heaven with his Savior. He will always be dear to my heart.”

In 1969, Brother Copeland called Jerry out of the crowd at a meeting in Shreveport, and said, “Jerry, God has shown me that someday you and I will become a team.” For more than five decades, the two ministered and co-labored together, demonstrating friendship, faithfulness, and loyalty, not just to one another, but to God as well. The lives Brother Jerry won for the Lord number in the hundreds of thousands, and the impact of his life and ministry is immeasurable. Please join us as we pray for Carolyn, Jerriann, Terri and the entire family.

‘Well done, good and faithful servant…Enter into the joy of your lord.’ – Matthew 25:23

Jerry Savelle’s ministry is credited with leading hundreds of thousands to faith, and his impact is immeasurable. The Celebration of Life Service will serve as a time to honor Jerry’s legacy. It also offers support and prayers for his wife Carolyn, his daughters Jerriann and Terri, and the entire Savelle family.
