According to Joyce , we all know that faith and fear are two very different things. Faith is believing in something unseen, while fear is feeling anxious and having doubts in the unseen. We need to remember that faith always wins over fear.
The Bible tells us in Hebrews 11:1, “Now faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen.” Faith is trusting in God, even when we don’t understand what is happening. Fear, on the other hand, is often rooted in our own worries and insecurities. Fear is putting our trust in earthly circumstances, instead of trusting in God.
The Bible also tells us in 2 Timothy 1:7, “For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.” This verse is telling us that God has given us a spirit of power, love, and soundness of mind. This means that we don’t have to live in fear, because God has given us the power to overcome it.
So, what should we do when we feel fear creeping in? We should take a step of faith. We should take a step of trust in God and His promises. We should remember that God is always with us and He will never leave us or forsake us. We can trust in Him and He will lead us through the fear.
Lastly, remember that faith is a decision. We have to make the decision to trust in God and to believe that He will work all things out for our good. We can ask God to help us in this process and He will.
Finally, Joyce Meyer encouraged everyone to trust in God and to have faith in Him. He is always with us, and He will lead us through the fear. Let’s make the decision to trust in Him and to put our faith in Him. Amen.
