Theme : A Key to Emotional Health.
Bear with each other and forgive one another if any of you has a grievance against someone. Forgive as the Lord forgave you.

I believe one reason many people live in emotional turmoil is that they refuse to forgive people who have hurt or wronged them. Whether we realize it or not, unforgiveness is often the root of negative feelings. Many people feel justified and think they have a right to refuse to forgive. They think they should hurt the people who hurt them. But this isn’t emotionally healthy or wise.
Very painful things can happen to us in life. Many times, the key to getting through them and being able to enjoy our lives in the future is learning to forgive what has happened in the past. I’m convinced that, as believers and followers of Christ, we will never experience joy-filled, victorious lives unless we forgive people.
Forgiveness is not a feeling; it’s a choice. We can choose to forgive someone whether we feel like it or not. We can even choose to forgive while we feel angry or hurt. Once we make the decision to forgive, our emotions eventually calm down. As we continue to walk in forgiveness, hurt and anger subside. We may not choose to restore our relationship with the person who hurt us, but forgiveness sets us free from negative feelings toward them and may eventually lead us to feel compassion for them. When we forgive people, we can bless them and pray for them, as Jesus teaches. As a result, we will be blessed too. We don’t know all the blessings that will come from forgiveness, but we do know it will lead to peace in our hearts and that it’s a key to emotional health.
Prayer of the Day: God, help me choose to forgive everyone who has hurt or wronged me, even when I don’t feel like forgiving them.
Today’s message.
Promotion doesn’t come from people; it comes from the Lord. He lifts up one and sets down another. When it’s your time, no person can stop what God has for you.
All the burdens, stress, worries—release that weight. Let Him be God and you’ll see Him carry you through things that you never thought you could get through. He’ll carry you further than you ever dreamed you could go.
When you’re outnumbered, outsized, out-educated, out-trained, don’t be surprised if people discount you. What they can’t see is what God put in you. He will take you where you can’t go on your own. When you defy the odds, everyone will know His favor is on your life.
God is not just the God of the mountains; He’s the God of the valleys. The only way to a higher mountain is to come down and go through the valley. Don’t get discouraged by the valley; it’s leading you to something greater.
What God has purposed for your life is not dependent on whether anyone approves you, accepts you, or validates you.
God doesn’t base your value on what you do, on how well you perform. It’s based on the fact that you’re His child; He breathed life into you. He made you in His own image. There’s nothing you can do that will make you more valuable.
You are responsible for your own happiness. If you’re depending on what other people do to determine whether or not you’re going to be happy, you’ll spend a lot of days unhappy.
Life is too short to let your happiness depend on how someone else treats you. Don’t put your happiness in their hands. You can’t control what they do, but you can control what you do. You have a destiny to fulfill. There’s an assignment for you to accomplish.
Prayer For Today:
Heavenly Father,
We come before You on this blessed Friday with hearts full of gratitude and reverence. Thank You for the gift of life, for waking us up this morning, and for the countless blessings You have bestowed upon us. As we step into this day, we acknowledge Your sovereignty and seek Your divine presence in every moment.
Lord, we ask for Your guidance and wisdom. Illuminate our paths with Your light and lead us in the way of righteousness. Grant us discernment to make wise decisions, and fill us with Your Holy Spirit so that we may reflect Your love and grace in all we do.
Father, we pray for strength and courage to face any challenges that may come our way today. Help us to remain steadfast in faith, trusting that You are our refuge and fortress. May we not be shaken by the trials of life but stand firm, knowing that You are with us, always.
We lift up our families, friends, and loved ones to You. Surround them with Your protection and peace. Heal those who are sick, comfort those who are grieving, and provide for those who are in need. Let Your mercy and love flow abundantly into their lives.
Lord, we pray for our communities and nations. Bring unity where there is division, hope where there is despair, and justice where there is injustice. Use us as instruments of Your peace and love, to bring about change and transformation in the world around us.
As we go through this day, help us to keep our eyes fixed on You. May our words and actions glorify Your name and draw others closer to You. Remind us of Your promises, and fill our hearts with joy and thanksgiving.
