John Piper Sermons : Faith Won’t Survive Without Friends

John Piper Sermons Faith Won’t Survive Without Friends: We wont endure alone, we  need one another. Hebrews 3 vs. 12-14 says, “See to it, brothers and sisters, that none of you has a sinful, unbelieving heart that turns away from the living God. But encourage one another daily, as long as it is called “Today,” so that none of you may be hardened by sin’s deceitfulness. We have come to share in Christ, if indeed we hold our original conviction firmly to the very end”.

Pastor John Piper God uses the people around us to save us both from spiritual and physical problems, he uses people to keep our faith alive and sends us warnings to correct our missteps. we are called to be messengers of God, to pass messages of God to others, we have to be there for one another, we have a glorious calling, that we carry for one another, we need to be in a sort of christian fellowship to strengthen one another to help each other at times when we are low on faith bars.

in 1st Samuel 23 “And Jonathan Saul’s son arose, and went to David into the wood, and strengthened his hand in God. And he said unto him, Fear not: for the hand of Saul my father shall not find thee; and thou shalt be king over Israel, and I shall be next unto thee; and that also Saul my father knoweth”. we see how Jonathan helps in strengthening the faith of David, it did not matter to him that it was his father who was against David, he went out there to look for him in the woods to encourage him, this is a Rare kind of friendship and this is the kind of friendship that is encourage, a friendship that stands by you at all times and seasons of your life.
