John Hagee Daily Devotional October 11 2022

John Hagee Daily Devotional October 11 2022

SCRIPTURE: -John 8:31-32 “Then Jesus said to those Jews who believed Him, “If you abide in My word, you are My disciples indeed. And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.”

We can ignore the Truth, debate the Truth, argue the Truth, and refuse to apply the Truth. No matter what we do with it, though, Truth does not change.

Many people are discussing the national issues that need to be addressed. Politicians expound from their various platforms. Commentators present their views on the nightly news. In casual conversations between friends, topics are dissected and discussed.

We debate who should be voted in or unseated. We argue who deserves to be defunded, who needs to be refunded, and who is overfunded.

Amid the noisy clamor, we have overlooked this central truth: we are hacking at branches instead of striking the root. Until we realize that we are a nation in need of God’s Truth, the chaos and confusion will continue to worsen.

God’s children will recognize the Truth, and it will make us free. Once we discover it, what do we do with the Truth we know? We cannot dilute or disregard it. We must submit to it and speak it.

Our blessings do not come from a political party, a savvy economic program or a charismatic leader. Our blessings flow from the Father above. When America remembers, we will return to our legacy as one nation under God.

    Today’s Blessing:

May the Lord bless you and keep you. May the Lord make His face to shine upon you and be gracious unto you and give you His peace. Serve the Lord with all your heart, soul, mind, and strength, because the best is yet to be!
