SCRIPTURE: -John 14:12 “Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do he will do also; and greater works than these he will do, because I go to My Father.”

A mysterious connection ties our thankfulness to God’s miracle-working power. But before we can receive, we must believe in miracles.

Some declare that the signs and wonders that marked Jesus’ ministry were only for the early New Testament church. However, Hebrews 13:8 assures us that Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever – the unchanging, miracle-working God!

A miracle is the supernatural manifestation of God’s power, so that we recognize Him for Who He is. When the unexplainable occurs, when the impossible becomes a reality, we are forced to acknowledge the One Who breaks into the ordinary with His extraordinary.

Trapped! The children of Israel gazed helplessly at the Red Sea before them and the Egyptian army in hot pursuit. No way out…until a strong wind piled up water on the left and right, and two million people crossed on dry ground.

A humble virgin gave birth to a Son. Wise men came from afar, shepherds worshiped, and the heavenly host sang, “Glory to God in the highest!”

All of the miracles that Jesus performed? He promised that we will accomplish even greater works than those! Do you believe in miracles? To receive, we must believe.

    Today’s Blessing:

May the Lord bless you and keep you. May the Lord make His face to shine upon you and be gracious unto you and give you His peace. May the manifestation of God’s power in your life point you to the One Who will do abundantly more than you can ask or imagine. He is able!
