John Hagee Daily Devotional (August-13-2021)

John Hagee Daily Devotional August 13 2021 : Matthew 25:21 – Well done, good and faithful servant; you were faithful over a few things, I will make you ruler over many things. Enter into the joy of your lord.

We long for God to pour out His favor in our lives. We pray for the anointing that ushers in the miraculous. We lay hold of His promises for prosperity.

The secret to experiencing the unexpected, supernatural move of God in our lives can be summed up in one word: faithfulness. And because God’s faithfulness is never in question, that secret is unlocked by our fidelity.

God expects us to be faithful to Him…even in the very smallest details. When He delivered the children of Israel out of the slavery of Egypt, His first commandment to them was, “You shall have no other gods before Me” (Exodus 20:3). The expectation was clear: I will be faithful to you; I expect you to be faithful to Me. When they refused to devote themselves to Him, the results were disastrous.

Too many people in our culture demand God’s faithfulness even when they choose to be fickle. However, Jesus did not say, “Well done, good and fickle servant.” Inconsistency does not warrant a command performance from God.

Our faithfulness is measured as we read, obey, and accomplish God’s Word and His will. When we are single-mindedly committed to Him in even the smallest ways over the fewest things, He rewards us with the unexpected. This is a simple secret worth sharing!

Blessing: May the Lord bless you and keep you. May the Lord make His face to shine upon you and be gracious unto you and give you His peace. May you be faithful over the few things, so God can trust you with more. May He renew a steadfast spirit in you as you expect the supernatural move of the Lord. He is faithful from generation to generation!
