John Bevere Sermons Three Steps to Finding Your Calling – The whole church is called to build church house, thats our goal as christians, that our whole calling, however out individual callings when joined together will still lead to building Gods church, this is our calling is usually bigger than us and its not about us, its about the people we impact, your calling is not singular, and your calling is now, everything we do now is leading us to what we will do tomorrow; its like a chain of events leading to the ultimate goal or destination.

in Hebrews 11 vs. 6, Jesus says “But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him”. in other to know your calling, you have to go to God in faith, you have to ask God in faith and do it diligently, to diligently seek God means to be intense about seeking God, to be intentional about seeking God.

the second step is to fast and pray, not just go on a hunger strike, fast and believe that the lord will grant your desires. when we pray we should not always be on the requesting sides, we should take out time to bless the name of the lord and exalt him. even though the answers to the prayers do not come immediately, we should be patient and watch and wait.  God is more passionate about the calling he has given us.

the third step is to read the scriptures, when we read the scriptures, the lord speaks to us, while reading the scriptures  we can hear from god if we ask the Holy Spirit to guide us on the part to read. It is important we know our calling early so that we can join hands with the rest of the christians who already know theirs to serve God greatly by building his church and winning souls for him.
