Joel Osteen Sermon ”Trusting God’s Ways” : Today, we are invited to watch , listenn and learn from this highly educative and inspiring message by the lead pastor of Lakewood Church, Pastor Joel Osteen, titled ”Trusting God’s Ways”.
Preaching on this new sermon, Pastor Osteen said, The trouble is not there to stop you; it’s there to move you forward. You haven’t seen, heard or imagined what God has prepared for you.
Life makes a lot of withdrawals. Don’t make the mistake of living overdrawn. If you go into a new week at a deficit, that’s when you get overwhelmed, frustrated. You’re not as productive; your gifts aren’t coming out like they should.
It may be a good thing, but good things can wear you out. Good people can deplete you. It’s all about balance. Does it work with the season you’re in right now? Does it fit with what you already have to do?
If you’re giving all the time and never filling back up, you’re going to be depleted. You’re good to others; why don’t you be good to you? You’re kind to others, be kind to yourself. Be generous to yourself; be loving to yourself.
It’s not selfish to take time for you. You need time to get refreshed, to reenergize. You shouldn’t be so busy that you don’t have time to be alone, time to laugh, time to exercise. You need recreation. You need things that keep you in balance.
You have to be honest with yourself. It’s easy to ignore things, make excuses. You may need to confront pride, confront an addiction, confront compromise. Maybe you need to apologize to someone. The longer you put it off, the longer you’re wandering.
