You don’t have to prove to God that you’re worthy, He’s already made you worthy. You don’t have to prove that you deserve His goodness, He knew every mistake you would ever make, every fault, every weakness, and He’s already accepted and approved you.
God has given us so many gifts that perhaps we’ve come to take Him for granted. He’s given us salvation. He’s given us strength for battle, the gift of His presence. It’s important that when we come to God that we learn to receive His gifts with gratefulness in our hearts.
