Joel Osteen Sermon : How Bad Do You Want It

Joel Osteen Sermon How Bad Do You Want It : The dreams and promises God made with you are not going to come true without oppositions, delay and opportunities to lose your passion for it. But if you are going to reach your destiny, you have make up your mind. If you give up, what that really means is that you did not want it bad enough.

You can’t be passive and then indifferent, you need to have wholly determination. It is more than just your will, you have to have a fire inside knowing that it is supposed to be yours. Have the attitude of not quitting and not settling for less. You should know that there is greatness in you.

How bad do you want what God has placed in your heart? Bad enough to lash out oppositions? Do you want it bad enough even if circumstances keep saying it is not going to happen? The difficulties we face are just test. Test to see how bad we really want it. You have to be more determined than the oppositions.

If you want to see what you have been willing for, you have to do what others won’t do. When the odds are against you, you have to want it on a new level. You have to stand out in the crowd if you want it bad enough. The Scriptures says Daniel distinguished himself so that he was so excellent in his work that he stood out among other men. He was willing to do what others wouldn’t do. There are much levels right in front of us but all of it depends on how bad we want it.

God is not going to do everything for us, we have to do our parts. If you roll away the stone, then God will do what you are asking. God is not going to free you until you roll away the stone. If you are not willing to do the natural, he will not be able to do the supernatural.

Your destiny is too important to spend it with people that are not making you better. Who are you allowing to influence you? You don’t have time to waste with people that bring out the worst in you. Life is flying by. What if you miss your destiny? You are destined to leave your mark. You weren’t created to fit in. You were created to stand out. Do your part and distinguish yourself. The pain of discipline is less than the pain of regret. One of the saddest thing is to come to the end of life and wonder what I could have become. It is not too late to become who God has created you to be.

The difference between a dream and a wish is you hope it happens but for dreams, you put actions to validate it. Wishes won’t get you anywhere. If you are not hungry after anything, you are not going to be filled. You can not make a person hungry because it has to come from within. You have to be ruthless when it comes to what God has placed in your heart. Quit telling yourself it is too hard. What God kept in you is worth fighting for. It is worth being uncomfortable for a season to achieve it.

You can do whatever you want but the question is how big is your want? When you make up your mind to do something, God will breathe on your effort and give you strength that goes beyond your ability. But it kicks in when God sees you are doing all you can do. God is saying it is in you but you have to dig deep and pull out the effort. It may not be easy but your destiny is calling.
