Read Joel Osteen Daily Devotional May 3 2023:

SCRIPTURE: -2 Chronicles 22:11, NIV “Because Jehosheba, the daughter of King Jehoram and wife of the priest Jehoiada, was Ahaziah’s sister, she hid the child from Athaliah so she could not kill him.”

The life of Joash, the infant son of King Ahaziah, was spared because a woman named Jehosheba and her husband, the high priest Johoiada, hid him away from his ruthless grandmother, Athaliah. She would have killed him to keep him from the throne, to keep him from the calling upon his life, and Joash was helpless to stop her. But when it’s your time to reign, God has already lined up the right people who will go out of their way to help you, people who will use their favor to push you into your destiny.

The fact that you have forces trying to keep you from your reign as a son or daughter of God is a sign that you have an awesome destiny. No person, no bad break, no sickness, and no injustice can stop what He has purposed for you. The forces for you are greater than the forces against you. When you need people to be for you, protecting and promoting you, the Most High God will bring them to you.

    Prayer for Today

“Father, thank You that You reign over all the situations in my life and nothing can stop me from what You’ve purposed for me. Thank You that You will send the right people to help when I need it. I declare that You are greater than anything that comes against me. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.”
