    Jason Meyer Bethlehem Baptist : Pastor Jason Meyer (born 21 February 1965) is the successor of evangelical superstar John Piper as senior pastor of Bethlehem Baptist Church.  Bethlehem Baptist Church is one of the premium churches in the United States .  Pastor Jason is of German nationality and of  Pisces zodiac sign.


    Jason Meyer of Bethlehem Baptist Church was born on the 21 February 1965 . Accordingly as of 2021 being the year of writing this article , Pastor Jason Meyer is 56 years old. Pastor Jason celebrates his birthday on the 21 February of every year.


    In 1999, Pastor Jason Meyer married his beloved wife, Cara Meyer and the union is blessed with two daughters; Alllie Meyer and Grace Meyer. Also on humanitarian grounds, Pastor Jason Meyer adopted two boys from Ethiopia, in the course of his missionary work there, in the persons of Jonathan and David.

    Preceding to his going to Bethlehem Baptist Church, Pastor Jason Meyer has been working assiduously in the Lord’s vineyard and has taught myriads of places, such as New testament and Greek Assistant Professor and Dean of Chapel at Louisiana College, in Pineville, Los Angeles, from 2006-2009.

    Also, as an Assistant Professor of New Testament, Pastor Jason Meyer in the 2010 Spring, taught at Evangelical Theological College, in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. It is pertinent to mention, that prior to teaching at Evangelical Theological College, Evangelical Theological College, Pastor Jason Meyer was the Pastor of Orville Baptist Church, and also doing his Ph.d at The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary, Kentucky in New testament, under the Mentorship of Thomas R. Schreiner.

    At Bethlehem College and Seminary, Pastor Jason Meyer brought with him myriads of pastoral experiences, writings, preaching, missions and teachings.  One of the predilections of Pastor Jason Meyer is to preach God’s words in any place he finds himself, especially in the academy and church. The outstanding visions of Pastor Jason Meyer, is to preach the word of God and the great doings of God, both to the academy and the church to the glorification of God.

    Pastor Jason is always happy to see people praising God and which made him to put the mission statement of Bethlehem, is about the Life of God and the love to expand the sovereignty of God to all people of the world and to all things in general

    Pastor Jason Meyer as an author, has written  plethora of books  and some of these books are his contributions to a chapter of the book Epistles in the Cradle, the Cross and the Crown: An Introduction to the New Testament, a biblical and practical theology of Preaching and ultimately on the discrepancy in Paul between the new and the old covenant titled The End of the Law: Mosaic Covenant in Pauline Theology.

    It is imperative to mention, that before Pastor Jason Meyer was appointed the Pastor in charge of Bethlehem, the Assistant Professor of the New Testament and Greek at Louisiana College in Pineville, LA and which he held was between 2006 to 2009.  He was also the Dean of Chapel of the same school.

    However, Pastor Jason Meyer as a teacher at Bethlehem College and Seminary is more of a return to his root, because he Bethlehem was his alma mater between 1999-2001 of which was in the Bethlehem Institute. Pastor Jason Meyer in charge of vision and preaching at Downtown, Bethlehem Baptist Church, which he combined with teaching at Bethlehem College and Seminary.


    Pastor Jason Meyer has an estimated net worth of approximately $4 million. He earns mostly from his occupation as a pastor.


    Jason Meyer, successor to the famous pastor and bestselling author John Piper, resigned from Bethlehem Baptist Church, Minneapolis, Minnesota, amid allegations of what is termed as “abusive behavior” and a toxic culture among the church leadership. Piper retired in 2011 after 30 years in the pulpit to focus on other aspects of his Desiring God ministry. Upon his resignation, Jason Meyer assumed the position of the lead pastor of Bethlehem Baptist church.
