How Can A Christian Be Perfect

The question comes from Matthew 5:48 which says, “Be perfect, therefore, as your heavenly Father is perfect.”

The verse does not say that we have to be perfect in order to be saved, or even that we have to get better at being good. It simply tells us that God’s perfection is a model for us. How can you follow this model if you don’t know what it looks like? The answer lies in studying God’s character through the Bible and practicing His attributes (like love and forgiveness) in our own lives so that we become more Christlike and less selfishly human-ish all the time.

This verse can be seen as impossible but the truth is that it’s not.

The word perfect in this verse refers to someone who has no sin or wrong-doing and this is seen as impossible. That’s why many Christians will say that they are not perfect because of their sins and wrongdoings. But what these Christians fail to realize is that we cannot be perfect if we look at our own selves through our own limited view of life but if we look at our lives from a different perspective?

This article explores how Christians can achieve perfection by looking at themselves in a different light with God’s help, which means believing on Jesus Christ for salvation and receiving His forgiveness for their sins through Him alone!

There is a way to be perfect as our Heavenly Father is perfect.

How can a Christian be perfect?

    • We need to rely on Jesus to be perfect.
    • We need to recognize our imperfections and ask for help.
    • We need to be willing to give up our imperfections.

We can be as perfect as our Heavenly Father if we recognize that in ourselves alone we’re imperfect and that we need His help to overcome that.

One of the ways that God reveals his perfect love for us is by telling us through his Son, Jesus Christ, how much he loves us. He loves you so much that he gave himself for you on the cross of Calvary. The Bible says in John 3:16:

    • For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.

God’s love is eternal and never ending. It doesn’t matter who you are or what kind of problems you have—God still loves you! And because He loves each one of us individually and wants to save our souls from hell (Matthew 18:14), He sent His only begotten Son into this world with one purpose: To die for each one of us (1 John 4:9).

Perfection isn’t something attainable on our own, rather it’s something we can achieve only through the work of Jesus Christ in our lives.

Perfection is something that we cannot achieve on our own. Our imperfections are too great for us to overcome and the only one who can help us do this is Jesus Christ. Through His work in our lives, we can be perfect and live life to the fullest. He has already made all of the necessary preparations for us to reach perfection, but it’s up to each individual person whether they will accept this gift or not. Don’t try to achieve perfection on your own; instead remember that Jesus wants to help you achieve it.

Your perfection is not something that you can achieve on your own. You need the help of someone else, and Jesus is more than willing to give it. He wants to make you perfect in every way possible for his sake. This means that he loves you with all his heart and wants the best for you at all times, so if there’s anything that could be done better, he will do it for you.

    Conclusion

The key to understanding your role as a Christian is to remember that God created you and loves you. He wants you to be His perfect child, but He knows that’s not something we can do on our own. That’s why Jesus came here 2000 years ago to save us from ourselves and give us a way back into His family if we accept His sacrifice on our behalf. When we turn away from our imperfections and sins through accepting Jesus Christ as Lord of our lives then we become perfect in the eyes of God because He sees the love in our hearts for Him above all else!
