How Can A Christian Be Fruitful

The Bible says that we are to be fruitful, and it does not leave the topic at that. It goes on to say how this is accomplished, the Holy Spirit being the source of the fruit. The God who created us wants us to be fruitful, and He has given us His Spirit so that we might bear fruit for Him.

How Can A Christian Be Fruitful

God intends for us to yield fruit

While serving as a Pastor, the Lord instructed me to make it clear that fruitfulness is not a commandment. It is rather something He gives us and expects from us as a result of His grace.

We must remember that fruitfulness comes from God, so we need to ask for it (James 4:2). We should thank Him when we see fruit in our lives or another Christian’s life because this shows that He is blessing them with His Spirit (Luke 6:38).

The Holy Spirit is the source of this fruit

The fruit of the Spirit is not something that you can produce on your own. It’s not something that you can earn, either. You see, the Holy Spirit is the source of all fruit and also gives it to us through His grace.

So if you want to be fruitful in your Christian walk, then focus on growing closer to God through prayer and reading His Word: The Bible!

The Holy Spirit produces various kinds of fruit in us

The Holy Spirit produces various kinds of fruit in us: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. These are the fruit of the Spirit (Galatians 5:22-23).

These are not rules but rather gifts from God that flow out of our union with Jesus Christ. We can enjoy these fruits because Jesus has provided for mercy to be shown to us (Titus 2:11-12). This mercy is accessible due to His sacrifice on the cross for our sins (Romans 5:8).

The Holy Spirit produces these gifts individually within each believer according to His will. They are not earned by any merit or effort on our part; rather they are given freely through God’s grace and mercy toward us who have faith in Him (Ephesians 2:8-10).

The Fruit Of The Spirit Is Not Rules

The Fruit of the Spirit is not a list of rules to follow. The Bible does not tell us that we need to have a certain number of these qualities or that we cannot have any others. We are encouraged to pursue the fruit, but not forced into the mold. The list is meant as a guideline for Christians who want to grow and develop godly qualities in their lives.

The Fruit of the Spirit is also not actions that Christians should take in order to get God’s approval (or avoid getting his disapproval). Even if you have all nine fruits as your own personal gifts, it doesn’t mean that you’re going down this road without any bumps along the way! You’ll still struggle with sin and temptation; there will still be days when you feel like giving up hope; there will still be times when everything goes wrong…but these aren’t signs that God doesn’t love you anymore—they’re just signs that you’re human!

God wants you to be fruitful.

God wants you to be fruitful.

He loves you and wants to see you grow in Him. He also wants to see you be used by Him as an instrument of His love, mercy, and grace in this world.

So, how can a Christian be fruitful? Well, the Bible tells us that we need to yield fruit. The Holy Spirit is the source of this fruit and He produces various kinds of fruit in us. God wants each one of us to be fruitful so that our lives would reflect His glory. We must rely on Him to help us do this and not try to do it on our own strength because it won’t work!
