In this sermon, Grace Dickow started by referring to Isaiah 35: 6 which says ”Then the lame wll leap like a deer, and the tongue of the mute will shout for joy, for waters will break forth iin the wilderness. He urther referred to Isaiah 43: 18 whch says. ”Do not call too mind the former things or ponder the things of the past. Also referred to was Isaiah 43: 19 which says, ”Behld I will do something new, now it will spring forth, will yoou be aware of it? I will even make a road in the wilderness, Rivers in the desert.
Isaiah 43: 20, was also referred to, which says, the beasts in the field will glorify me, the jackals and the Ostriches, because i have given waters in the wilderness. verse 21 further says , the people whom i formed for myself will declare my praise. Verse 22 says, yet yiu have not called on me O Jacob, but you have become weary of me O Israel.
od designed us for a purpose. Sometimes when we find ourselves in hardship/diffiicult situations, we tend to ask God questions like, If you love me Lord, why would you allow me pass through this difficult situation, why would you allow me suffer, etc. It is important that while we read all the good things in Psalm 23, we should remember a verse of it that say, even if ii walk through the value oof the shadow oof death, I shall fear no evil, for you are with me, your rod and your staff, they comfort me.
we should always note that that Proverbs 13 :12 says, He deferred makes the heart sick, but desire fuulfiilled is a tree of life.
