God’s Provision and Protection God has always provided for His children. This can be seen throughout the Old Testament, but one of the most compelling examples is found in Psalm 91. In this passage, David speaks of how God protects His people from danger and gives them peace of mind. There are times when we may not understand why things happen in our life, but it is important to remember that God is sovereign over every detail of our lives. He knows what is best for us and will provide everything we need through Jesus Christ!
God’s Provision And Protection
1. God knows what you need and He can give it to you.
God knows what you need and He can give it to you. He is a good Father, a Good Shepherd, and a good provider.
Remember that God is not just your creator—He’s also your sustainer! That means that as long as you’re breathing, God will provide for all of your needs according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:19).
God has promised that He will never leave us or forsake us (Hebrews 13:5). In addition to this promise we have the assurance of Jesus’ own words in John 10:28-29 which say, “I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; no one can snatch them out of my hand.”
2. The Lord is my Shepherd, I shall not want.
- God is our shepherd. He knows our needs and provides for us, even when we don’t know what we need.
- The Lord is my Shepherd, I shall not want. He leads me in paths of righteousness for His name’s sake (Psalm 23:1).
- With you is the fountain of life; In your light do we see light (Psalm 36:9).
- The Lord will command His lovingkindness in the daytime and in the night His song shall be with me—A prayer to be used as an aid to prayer: “The Lord has been my shepherd throughout all my life” (Psalm 23:3-6).
3. If you have the Son, you have life.
Jesus is the Son of God. If you have the Son, you have life.
Jesus is the only way to God. If you do not have Jesus, you are separated from God and cannot enter into heaven.
Jesus is the only way to eternal life (after death). Those who do not receive Christ as their Lord and Savior will burn in hell for eternity with no hope for redemption or pardon from sin.
Jesus is the only way to salvation (right now). Those who reject Christ forfeit any chance at being saved from this present evil world system and will be judged accordingly by God when they die physically on Earth. This includes those who claim to be Christians but refuse to obey His word or live according to His commandments because His word—not your own opinions or preferences—is what saves us now on Earth before we die physically in our bodies (1 John 2:17-19). And once we die physically here on Earth without having accepted Jesus as Lord and Savior while still alive in our bodies through faith alone apart from works done by ourselves or others depending on their own good intentions toward us even if they appear outwardly friendly towards us due primarily because our sins were forgiven through faith alone apart from works done by ourselves or others depending upon their own good intentions toward us even though these people may seem outwardly friendly towards us due primarily because there was no physical contact between them nor any verbal contact between them either verbally spoken aloud; then there will be no opportunity whatsoever left available after death where anyone could choose another path aside from going down into hell fire forever without end time without end.”
4. God can give you the strength to conquer your problems or leave them for Him to take care of.
God can give you the strength to conquer your problems or leave them for Him to take care of. He is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Psalm 46:1 says that God is our rock, our fortress, our deliverer, a very present help in trouble. Psalm 18:2 says he is our shield, and the horn of our salvation, our high tower. If you are having trouble with things or people coming against you then remember that God will always be there for you!
5. “All things are possible for those who believe.”
I’ve found that belief is essential to receive God’s provision and protection.
Belief is not only a choice we make, but it’s also something we decide to live by. We can choose to believe what the Word of God says about us, or we can choose not to believe. It’s our decision!
I believe that believing does more than just change your circumstances; it changes you as well! When you believe in God and His Word, He will give you revelation knowledge so that you can see yourself through His eyes—as someone who has been born again (John 3:3). Not only will this new way of thinking change how others see you but it will also affect how they treat and talk about you as well!
6. For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.
God’s provision is eternal life, available to all who believe and make a decision to accept it. It’s free; you don’t have to pay for it or work for it. All you have to do is accept his gift of salvation through Jesus Christ.
God himself has already paid the price for our sins by sending his Son, Jesus Christ, as payment in full for our debt of death and hell (Romans 5:8). When Jesus died on the cross, he took upon himself all of our sins—past present, and future—and suffered its consequences so that we would not have to endure them ourselves (2 Corinthians 5:17).
7. For with God, nothing shall be impossible. And Mary said, Behold the handmaid of the Lord; be it unto me according to thy word. And the angel departed from her. Luke 1:37-38
The word “impossible” has no meaning to God.
When Mary was told that she would bear a child and have a son, she did not hesitate to say yes, and when the angel told her that all her relatives would be killed unless they returned to Nazareth at once, she immediately complied. She did not question why this had happened or whether it could be true; she simply believed what God said and acted accordingly. Her faith was rewarded by the birth of Jesus Christ, who would later save us from our sins through His death on the cross and resurrection from death!
8. Our needs may differ but His provisions are the same – they are wonderful and they will come at just the right time.
God knows your needs and will provide for them. His provisions are wonderful, and they will come at just the right time. You need to remember that God’s provision is always sufficient.
You may be going through a difficult situation right now. There are many people who can relate to this experience because they have also gone through it before. When you’re going through tough times, it’s easy to feel frustrated and discouraged as well as wonder if there is any hope of getting out of the situation that you’re currently stuck in or how long it will take for things to get better again…
At the end of the day, we all need God’s provision in our lives. Those who believe in Him and those who don’t. He has shown us this over and over again by providing for His children through His son Jesus Christ’s life, death, burial, and resurrection!
