DOMI STREAM COVENANT HOUR OF PRAYER David Oyedepo : Jesus showed us the pattern for his own rise, he showed us the example that we have to follow if we are going to experience the glorification he has packaged for us. In Jesus’s example, we see that he was not only dedicated to the task of God but the outcome of his dedication was his ultimate glorification.
Philippines 2:9-11 says, “wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name, that at the name of Jesus, every knee must bow, of things in heaven, things on earth and things under the earth and every tongue should confess that Jesus is lord to the glory of God the father”. So we see that Jesus’s glorification as a result of the product of his dedication. It simply means that if we are going to experience elevation or taste glorification it has to be through dedication.
Dedication is a deadly commitment to a cause. It is making your life a seed and when your life becomes a seed, then glory of God is manifested through you. It is important we understand that the seed can be put in a pocket but a tree cannot be in a pocket. The difference between a seed and a tree is planting; the destiny of any man can be turned into a seed.
A seed can become a generationally impactful entity but only when planted. In the sane vain, one life can have a generational impact for generations but it is only when it is planted and it can be planted through dedication. Our life is our most precious seed; we should plant it in the kingdom by being wholly dedicated to God and his work, after that we will see the glory of God in our lives.
