Derek Prince Sermon Faith Must Act : There are three things that must work together with faith, they are; faith must be proclaimed or confessed, it must be acted on or it must work and it must be tested. Today pastor Derek prince teaches us about the second must which is that faith must work, it means the appropriate actions that go together with the faith professed.
Apostle Paul says, in Galatians 5 verse 6 “For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision nor uncircumcision has any value. The only thing that counts is faith expressing itself through love”.
he tries to explain to us that no external ritual by itself, without faith in God our hearts will work, he used circumcision as an example,
He also tells us of Gods primary requirement in the christian life, which is faith in the human heart. faith is the centre of everything in the christian life.
Thirdly, he teaches us that faith works and that true faith inspired by God is active, its not not passive, it does not just make statements and leave it at that, it makes statements and follows them up with appropriate actions and works.
Apostle paul also teaches us that faith works by love, true faith is always expressed in a loving, kind and gracious way. so many religions are harsh and critical and un kind, whenever we encounter religion like that, we must be sure that it does not spring from biblical faith for faith works by love.
