But if your eyes are unhealthy, your whole body will be full of darkness. If then the light within you is darkness, how great is that darkness” this simply means that what you look at with your eyes will either fill you with light or darkness. This is the danger of looking at the wrong things, they corrupt us totally and consume us before we know what going on.
We are advised to secure our eyes, since it is the gateway to our entire being. This will make our lives more better and we are encouraged to look at things that make our live brighter with the light of God.
