Daily motivational Great Deception Is Settling In: “WAKE UP, BEFORE IT’S TOO LATE” : Where do you want to spend eternity?
Deuteronomy 30:19 says “I call heaven and earth to record this day against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore choose life, that both thou and thy seed may live”
There have been many debates on where human beings go when they have passed on, we may have heard of reincarnation, some people believe that, after we pass on, our spirit goes back into the body as a fetus and they are given birth to again, some have concluded that after the death the human, the spirit will roam about watching over their loved ones and appearing to them in different forms.
The truth according to the bible is the standard we Christians have to follow. The bible in Hebrews 9:27 says “And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment”. We see here that what comes after death is judgment.
Most people don’t like hearing messages about where they could spend their eternity. What’s more important to Christians right now is money making, how to be rich, how to change 100 to a billion. This is the time to tell ourselves the truth and reflect on where we are coming from and where we are going. Ask yourself, in 100years from now where would you be? What would we be able to do with all our physical possessions? We should ask ourselves where our spirit man, will we spend eternity. Life is so short that in a 100years time, many people who are alive wont be then.
There is a time that has no end and that starts after this life on earth. A lot of people are fighting earthly battles of money hustle and more but are we also fighting the battle of eternity? You cannot fight the earthly battles only to win and then loose the eternal battle that becomes a great loss. It is time for us to wake up, tell ourselves the truth and work towards winning the battle of eternity.
