CONSIDER ONE ANOTHER… – Daily Devotional (August-13-2021)

Daily Devotional (August-13-2021) CONSIDER ONE ANOTHER…

Hebrews 10:24 – “And let us consider one another to provoke unto love and to good works”_

(Hebrews10:24 ISV) “And let us continue to consider how to motivate one another to love and good deeds”_ Many people in this generation have grown to be more selfish and self centered. They talk love on their mouths but in reality they look for people with benefits. Real love doesn’t come from man but rather it comes from God then flows through man. Because naturally man is a selfish being. The natural man sometimes love when he is loved, he cares when he is cared for, and the truth is he can only give what is given to him.

Looking beyond this: man is set on a journey when he becomes born again; the story changes when he receives Christ into his heart. _(2Corinthians 5:17) “Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.”_ Everything about him becomes new. He then becomes a new creature: a new and different species; one with different characteristics ready to be studied. To discover this new type of being, you need to study the scriptures. My dear, don’t only expect people to be compassionate and helpful to you. You have to become all those to other people because everyone is under God’s construction.

If you want people to be kind to you, then show mercy, if you want people to be loving to you then my dear, be loving yourself. Direct your love to people. This is possible by the Holy Spirit. Stop assuming they must know and demonstrate.

This is one of the reason why we need to keep on preaching the Gospel of Christ to our world; what can change a man is the Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Prayer – The Gospel of Christ is the only salvation to the world, it is the only solution to this state of the world and I have this Gospel in my spirit, ready to make known to my world in the Name of Jesus. Amen.
