Christian Ministry Agrees to Sell Building to RCCG

Christian Ministry Agrees to Sell Building to RCCG: A healing focused Ministries known as Ellel Ministries has confirmed the sale of its Pierrepont Centre to the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) network, a fast-growing church in the UK.

The Ellel group in March unequivocally announced that it was looking to sell the center as part of a pruning process. However, after showing more than a dozen organizations around the property, the group announced in a statement posted to its website on Sunday, its decision to sell the building to RCCG Church.
“We are writing to let you know that we have now agreed a sale with a Christian organisation – RCCG (The Redeemed Christian Church of God),” the statement read.

RCCG is a Pentecostal denomination with a presence in over 190 countries across the globe. The megachurch which was first established in Nigeria in 1947 by Josiah Olufemi Akindayomi and currently led by Enoch Adeboye has over 870 churches in the UK alone.

Ellel Ministries described RCCG as having “a real heart for healing and discipleship and are excited to be establishing their ministry at Pierrepont – building on what has been done through Ellel Ministries over the last 29 years.”

“We have met with the RCCG national leadership a number of times and have been impressed with their heart for the Lord, their humility, and their faith. Both ministries are sure that God is in this, and we continue to work together towards the completion of the sale process,” the statement further read.

Funds realized from the sale of the property will be utilized to pay off mortgages and restore other buildings currently used by Ellel.

Note that Pierrepont was acquired in 1995 with the goal of serving as a healing, training and equipping center for people from all over the world. The ministry however is soliciting prayers as they close the center.
