    Cece Winans, whose real name is Priscilla Marie Winans Love, is a uniquely talented and highly regarded American gospel singer. She started her music journey as part of a duo team consisting of Bebe and Cece Winans before eventually maintaining a solo career.

    Early Life

    Cece Winans was born on the 8th of October, 1964, in Detroit, Michigan, to Delores Winans and David Winans. She was born into a Christian family with her parents entirely devoted to the gospel and members of the Pentecostal Holiness Church. She attended the Detroit Minford High School for her education.

    Personal Life

    Cece Winans married her husband, Pastor Alvin Love II, on the 23rd of June, 1984. They have two children, namely Alvin Love III and Ashley Love. Currently, Ashley Love is married to Kenny Philips, while her brother, Alvin III, is an award-winning gospel artist.

    Career

    Cece Winans started her music career as a duo with her brother Bebe Winans on the “PTL Club Program,” a famous Christian telecast hosted by Jim and Tamry Faye Bakker.

    Despite belonging to a large musical family, she and her brother decided to form a duo after their time in PTL. In 1984, Cece Winans and Bebe Winans released their first album ‘Lord Lift Us Up’ for PTL records.

    They experienced massive success but decided to leave the PTL record with Cece Winans in 1984 after getting married and her brother in 1985. Their second album ‘Bebe and Cece Winans’ was released in 1987.

    Cece Winans started her solo career by releasing an album, “Alone In His Presence,” in 1995. This album sold over a million copies while racking up multiple awards, including Grammy Awards and Two Dove Awards.

    In 1999, Cece started her own recording company, “PureSprings Gospel,” and released over 8 albums between 1999 till 2017. She was a judge between 2012 to 2014 at the BET gospel singing competition with her brother Bebe Winans.
