Bishop Jackie McCullough Sermons 13 September 2021 – Power

Bishop Jackie McCullough Sermons 13 September 2021 Power – Based on the updates of Covid-19, and the comments of people who say, they cannot wait to go back to their normal lives which is  life before Covid-19, bishop Jacqueline tries to make us understand that we cannot have the exact same life we had before the advent of covid-19. she tries to explain using the occurrence at 09-11 and how it changed peoples way of travelling, she said Covid-19 has forever changed our way of life.

A lot of people are afraid of what the changes might be, but bishop Jacqueline tries to make us understand that the spirit of fear in us is not of the lord. God gave us the spirit of power. power she defined as strength, courage, ability and fortitude. The gospel of Jesus gives us power.

We are reminded that the same power that rose Jesus up from death, is the same power that is resident in every believer. What is the power designed to do in the life of the believer? It is designed to help us deal with our dangers, It helps us over come our trials, it gives us the power to triumph over persecution, it gives us the ability to have the holy courage. This is a different kind of courage, the courage that helps us have strength when we should be panicking, or helps us make decisions when we should be falling apart or when we feel like we cant make it, it gives us the strength to go another day.

LUKE 10 VS 19 says, “Behold, I give unto you POWER to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy; and nothing shall by any means hurt you”. Therefore as long as we believers in God, we are very powerful in God we will  be able to successfully scale through all the problems we encounter, both those, that are  as a result of covid-19 and any other trial that may come our way.
