A WAY OF ESCAPE – Joseph Prince Daily Devotion
Isaiah 40:30-31 says, even the youths shall faint and be weary, and the young men shall utterly fall: but they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.
The secret is to wait upon the lord, to wait upon the lord means fellowship with the lord. It means to live your life in such a way that it will be intertwined with the lord.
God kept this promise to Joshua and Mosses who were both under the covenant of the law, how much more us who are under the covenant of the precious blood of his son our lord Jesus Christ.
He also said in psalm 92 vs. 12-15 that they shall bear fruit in old age, they shall be flourish. God has told us that he has the way out, the way to escape. When we pray, we have to be Conscious about of the lord, not our problems or diseases, in the bible he says “do this in remembrance of me”. When you come to pray or come for the communion in time of issues and trials, do not think about yourself, think of the lord, think of how beautiful he is and how full of mercy he is, remember how he chose to come down for our sake and how he was beaten for our sake and then we will remember that by his stripes we are healed of our sickness and problems. That’s how to pray our way out. We have to visualise the greatness of God in the moment of prayers.
