Kent Hovind (August-19-2021) Watch: Matthew 7 – Sermon on the Mount – The Bible in Mathew 7 begins with saying that we should not judge that we may not be judged, For God will judge us in the same way we have judged others and apply same rules to us as we applied to others.
Why then do you look at the speck in your brother’s eye, and pay no attention to the log in our own eyes. This particular verse focuses on telling us to pay attention to becoming the best version of ourselves and not to keep looking for faults in others.
The Bible calls those who look at speck in their brother’s eyes and pay less attention to the log of wood in their own eyes Hypocrite.
More importantly again, Mathew 7 verse 7 provided us assurance that we should ask and we shall receive, seek and we shall find, knock and the door will be opened for us. Further to clarify the assurance in Mathew 7 verse 7, the bible asked, would any of you who are fathers give your son a stone when he ask for bread? or would you give him a snake when he ask for a fish? Bad as you are, you know how to give good things to your children. How much more then, will your father in Heaven give good things to those who ask.
In this Kent Hovind sermon titled Matthew 7 – Sermon on the Mount, we are reminded that God remains God and ever ready to attend to our needs. We however need to live within the commandments of God. Sins hinder the blessings and favors of God. Our God does not dwel in a sinful heart. Love your neighbor as yourself and bless those who curse you. Pray for your enemies.
To partake in the wonders and miracles of God, we must be firm in faith. Faith in God moves mountain. Believe in God, put your trust in him. Ask and you shall receive , seek and you shall find, knock and the door shall be opened to you. The word of God is true and life. God is too big to lie. Believe in his promises, hold him by his words and enjoy the endless favors and blessings of God.
