Bishop Steve Houpe is the Founder and Senior Pastor of Harvest Church International Outreach In Kansas City, Missouri. He is a Great husband, an Amazing father and a great author. Dr. Steve Houpe served for three years in the U.S. Navy and is a Vietnam Veteran. The main aim behind Houpe Ministries is to restore people back to God’s original plan for their lives and to encourage people to see their God-given potential and purpose in life and to boldly embrace it.

Pastor Steve Houpe got a degree in Business Management from Rose State College. Steve Houpe was ordained through Rhema Bible Training Center in Tulsa, Oklahoma. He also received a degree in Biblical Studies from Friends Christian University and was awarded a Doctorate of Divinity in 1989.

Bishop Steve Houpe is married to his lovely wife Dr. Donna Houpe and they are both co-founded the Harvest Church in Kansas City, Missouri, where Steve serves as Senior Pastor.
His wife Dr. Donna Houpe is the First Lady and Executive Administrator of Harvest Church and Faith Academy. She has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Elementary Education from Southern University and graduated Magna Cum Laude. She has a Masters Degree in education from Louisiana State University. Also, she has several literary works by way of poetry and inspirational writings to her credit.
Dr. Donna Houpe also has over 29 years of experience in educating children. She aims to see that every child’s purpose and destiny come to fruition with the plan of God for their lives.
Bishop Houpe alongside his lovely wife Dr. Donna Leah Houpe, continues to touch lives Worldwide. Above all, they have both faithfully committed themselves to the yielding of the Holy Spirit and to carrying out the mission of spreading God’s Word to the world.

Steve and Donna Houpe’s marriage is blessed with six beautiful children; their names are Stephen Houpe, Justin Houpe, Benjamin Houpe, Darell Houpe, Christa Houpe, and Jonathan Houpe.
BISHOP STEVE HOUPE MINISTRY
In 1986, the Spirit of God led Bishop Houpe to Kansas City, Missouri. It was his very first time in but this was where he began Harvest Church Ministry. Pastor Steve said, the vision that God gave Him for Harvest Church was to “restore lost humanity back to God.” Steve believes that soul winning is the responsibility of the church and also the edification of the Body of Christ and to minister healing to all man. Over time, Bishop Houpe has impacted the Kansas City metropolitan area through various programs for close to three decades.
The Harvest Church is an inter-denominational, multi-cultural church. The undiluted word of God is one of the things the Harvest Church emphasizes on. An oasis of love is one of the terms for describing Harvest Church. It is one of the fastest growing churches in the Kansas City. The church has two-satellite Church as well as a Nursery School. Project Destiny is a developmental outreach initiative by Harvest Church.
Bishop Houpe is also the founder of Harvest Community Development Corporation, Inc. (HCDC). The main aim of the corporation is to carry out the community development plan called Project Destiny. Project Destiny is a multi-phased development project. The purpose of this project is to meet the needs of the community by providing affordable housing, medical facilities, supportive services, educational opportunities and opportunities for entrepreneurial development.
Some of the completed phases of Project Destiny include: a Senior Citizen living facility, Gymnasium and Activity Center, Restaurant, a home for unwed teen mothers, and still forthcoming are it’s Career Development and Training Center, Family Residential Subdivision and more.

The Pathway To Faith is a broadcast by Houpe Ministries which uses a variety of channels including print and magazine, television, online and radio broadcast, local and international missions, inspirational conferences and events to help real men, women, and families live a life of real fulfillment in Christ.
