Theme : Greater Honor
Today’s Scripture
Psalm 71:21, NLT
You will restore me to even greater honor and comfort me once again.
Today’s Word
In the Scriptures, Joseph was sold into slavery in Egypt, where he ended up in prison for thirteen years. But when he interpreted Pharaoh’s dream, Pharaoh was so impressed that he put Joseph in charge of the whole country. Raised as a shepherd, Joseph was made prime minister. I’m sure that when people saw Joseph, they thought he was raised in royalty. They didn’t know he was a former slave and prisoner. There was no sign of the injustice, the betrayals, the suffering. All they saw was a man who had great influence and honor.
You may be in an unfair situation like Joseph’s. You’re doing the right thing, but the wrong thing is happening. Don’t worry. God is a God of justice. He sees the wrongs, and He knows how to make up for what you’ve been through and how to restore you to greater honor. As with Joseph, nobody is going to know what you’ve been through. All they’re going to see is you promoted, honored, and doing great things.
Prayer for Today
Father, thank You that You are a God of justice, and You have seen everything I’ve gone through. Thank You that You know how to make up for all the negative things that I’ve faced. I believe that You are working to restore me to greater honor. In Jesus’ Name, Amen
