Today’s Scripture
Matthew 5:3, MSG – “You’re blessed when you’re at the end of your rope. With less of you there is more of God and his rule”
Today’s Word
When we’ve made mistakes and failed, it’s easy to feel that we’ve come to the end of our rope. You may have failed, but you’re not a failure. Failure is an event; it’s not who you are. What you struggle with, perhaps an addiction, is not who you are. What you’ve done may not be good, but it’s not the end. The Creator of the universe breathed life into you. You may have gotten off course, but God is saying, “I’m still going to bless you and show you My favor. I’m going to set you free.”
Prayer for Today
“Father, thank You that You are the Almighty God. Your unfailing love is greater than my failures, You’re more powerful than any sickness or addiction, and Your mercy covers more than my needs. I know You’re working behind the scenes and what You promised me is right on schedule. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.”
